Darrin C. Milling is Busy in 2023

In 2023, bass trombonist Darrin C. Milling celebrates 32 years as an artist with the Edwards Instrument Co. and 25 years in Brazil as a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician. He will mark those milestones by performing a number of big events, including a world premiere of the fifth concerto written for him since last year, a series of debut concerts in the US and abroad, new chamber collaborations with renowned pianists (including the 2010 Van Cliburn winner, Olga Kern). He’ll also be involved in multiple educational outreach and charity activities. Inspired by his parents, mentors, colleagues, and several students, Darrin’s dedication and passion for making music and teaching continue to endure.
