Marcos Pacheco holds a Bachelor of Music from the Mozarteum College of São Paulo and a postgraduate degree in Latin American Music from the University of Cuyo in Argentina.
He has extensive orchestral experience, having performed with the São Paulo Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra, OSESP (São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra), Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (Mexico), National University of San Juan Symphony Orchestra (Argentina), Bachiana Sesi Philharmonic Orchestra of SP, São Bernardo do Campo Philharmonic Orchestra, São Caetano do Sul Philharmonic Orchestra, São José dos Campos Symphony Orchestra, Santos Municipal Symphony Orchestra, São Paulo Academic Orchestra, and São Paulo State Symphony Band.
As a professor, he has taught at the National University of San Juan (Argentina) and at several festivals, including the Music of the Americas Festival (Belém, Pará), the Boituva Winter Festival (São Paulo), the Bronces Festival (San Juan, Argentina), the Bagé Winter Festival (Rio Grande do Sul), the Lages Winter Festival (São Paulo), Emesp (Workshop), and the São Paulo Municipal School of Music (Workshop).
Marcos has performed as a soloist with the Poços de Caldas Symphonic Band (MG), Caraguatatuba Youth Symphonic Band (SP), Tatuí Conservatory Youth Symphonic Band, Sertãozinho Youth Marching Band (SP), Senai Ribeirão Preto Symphonic Band, Senai Franca Symphonic Band, Santo Amaro Orchestra, Henrique Marques Symphonic Band (Limeira, São Paulo), and the São Paulo State Symphonic Band.
Currently, he is a bass trombonist with the Ribeirão Preto Symphony Orchestra (SP), a member of the Jive for Five Brass Quintet, conductor of the Alfeu Gasparini Youth Band, conductor of the Tatuí Conservatory Wind and Percussion Group, co-founder of the Master Bandas project, and a professor at the Tatuí Conservatory.
