The Bone Caddy is currently being updated and will be available for delivery in October 2008.
Joseph Alessi is not only a world-class trombonist – he is also a world-class traveler. Flying to performance destinations around the world means that he must trust his case to protect his trombone from luggage handlers and strict airport regulations. That is why he developed the BONE CADDY – a case designed to allow fellow tenor trombonists the ability to wheel – not carry – their instruments through crowded terminals and onto airplanes.
When getting ready to board the aircraft, your job as a trombone player is to NOT attract attention. Because the BONE CADDY has wheels and an extending handle, you will be able to BLEND in with the crowd. And since this durable case rolls easily, you no longer have to worry about wrinkled clothes or a tired back and arms.

- Disclaimer:
- The Bone Caddy is not meant to go under the plane with normal cargo. Any case can transfer energy from a fall and allow damage to the instrument. This case is designed for a plane's overhead compartment and will protect your instrument from other travelers' bags, etc. If no overhead space is available, you should try to first put the case in a forward/aft closet. As a last resort, you can gate check your instrument. DO NOT CHECK THE BONE CADDY WITH NORMAL LUGGAGE.
